Brenda Harris

Painter

Brenda is both an artist and interior designer and has a background in textile and design. A full time artist for the last twenty years, she paints in oil and watercolour – her work is instantly recognisable by the rich opulence of her colour palette and the almost palpable sensation of light that illuminates each canvas. Her landscapesare especially influenced by the local environments in which she finds herself, absorbing all the sensations of the landscapes, light and culture.

Her paintings have featured on numerous television programs in Ireland and the UK and she regularly exhibits in both solo and group shows.  Her work hangs in private and corporate collections in Ireland, US, UK, Germany, France and the Middle East. She regularly holds classes and workshops both in Ireland and France.
